Smart Water Projects for Southern California.

The Secure Water Alliance has thoroughly studied these proposed new water supply projects for our region, and has found them to be environmentally sensitive, sustainable, economically viable and deserving of your support. Cadiz Water Project – Conserving and using water now lost to high salinity and evaporation.

Delta Conveyance Project – Revitalizing the Sacramento Delta ecosystem while protecting a primary Southern California water source.

Doheny Ocean Desalination Project – The Doheny Ocean Desalination Project in Dana Point would create a new, reliable, local, and drought-proof water supply of five million gallons per day for Southern Orange County.

Pure Water Southern California – Adding up to 150 million gallons of water a day to Southern California’s water supply.

Sites Reservoir Project – Captures and holds up to 1.5 million acre-feet of water from the Sacramento River that otherwise would flow to the ocean without providing beneficial use.
